Fixes/Improvements
NetPoint
- Improvement when copying codes between files to maintain assignment behavior (NPTC-3777)
- Improvement for displaying month abbreviations in calendar strips (NPTC-3684)
- Fix for images/shades/text not moving or resizing while the header/footer was displayed (NPTC-3759, NPTC-3715)
- Fix for resource key not opening after turning off plots (NPTC-3760)
- Fix for activities not deleting after pasting to new file (NPTC-3778)
- Fix for error in total cost calculation in WBS rollup view
- Fix for crash after opening file from shared drive (NPTC-3706)

Schedule MD
A change to Inadequate Float and consequently Schedule IQ scores is to be expected due to a fix for the calculation of Merge Risk Index. For more info or any questions, contact support@pmatechnologies.com
- 122 new data metrics added, including: Critical Milestones, Near-critical Milestones, Start Milestones with No Predecessors, Finish Milestones with No Successors (MD-3)
- Fix for no internet connection error when getting NOAA weather data (MD-181)
- Fix for bug when multiplying percentiles for Merge Risk Index
- Fix for crash when reading XER file with planned end date earlier than start date (NR-434)
Known Issues

| Total float/drift calculation with lag | Activity on Monday shows up with 1 day of drift/total float despite a lag to predecessor equal to the gap (NPTC-4180) | Turn off the total float and drift and just show the float. For criticality to show up correctly, click Schedule > Modify Schedule Properties, click the dropdown next to Criticality Factor, and choose Float. Conversely, move the activity to start on a day other than Monday. |
| Window Size | After maximizing NetPoint, the right side of the window is cut off (NPTC-3937) | Delete the file called "NetPointSkin.cjstyles" in your installation directory (e.g. C:\Program Files (x86)\NetPoint 5) |
| Importing from P6 | The number of fields in the row do not match those for the table (NPTC-3397) | Update to NetPoint version 5.3 or later. This is a known issue with sharing XER files among P6 databases. There are a handful of XER cleaners on the market to fix this. The issue is typically in the RISKTYPE data table. If you cannot update to 5.3 or later, you can delete this table from the XER and try again. Alternatively, you can send XER file to support@pmaconsultants.com for assistance. Either way, it is not recommended to update your P6 project with the cleansed file without involving your database administrator. |
